    In the header navigation bar, you can display either the hierarchy of pages created with the page attributes module, or the custom menu, but not both at the same time. The settings that determine which is displayed are on the menus page: menu locations (top left), and “menu settings” (bottom of the menu structure.

    The only way to show both is to display Pages in the navigation bar, and the custom menu in a widget in the sidebar.

    Correction:
    You can make “Pages,” or whatever the top parent is of your Page Attributes structure, one of your Custom Menu items. In this way you can display both the Custom Menu and the Pages hierarchy in the header area navigation bar.

    @homeykorean,
    Recorrection:
    Sorry. I was right the first time. My last suggestion doesn’t work. It seems intuitively like it ought to work, but it doesn’t. The children assigned to a page at Page Attributes will be ignored by any link to that page in the custom menu.

    If you select a theme that supports two menus, then you can have both the custom menu and the page index in drop-down menus. The Newsworthy theme only supports one menu.
