Problem with Square Payment in Woocommerce: ‘An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment.’

Hi,
Problem: My check-out is not working and I see this message: “An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment.” I’m using Square as payment gateway.
Context: This is a CBD e-commerce store, I started with Stripe but they canceled the account since they don’t work with products like CBD (that’s why I did the setup with Square). When I created the site I did the regular woocommerce payments setup with Stripe. The issue came when Stripe cancelled my account.
New Problem: Everything seems to be working but when I try to pay through the check out I see this message “An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment”. Also, in my wp-admin in PAYMENTS I still see “Payments: Disabled”.
I’m afraid that my payments are disabled due to Stripe but since Woocommerce payments partner with Stripe, I’m not sure what to do. I tried to delete Woocommerce Payment plugin and install it again but it recognize my wp-admin and shows the same message in PAYMENTS (“Payments: Disabled”)
