Problem with static page view for twenty twelve theme
-
I recently updated my blog at http://www.njnursing.com with the “twenty twelve” theme. One of the things I liked about the theme, is the ability to upload the static ‘home’ page.
I wanted to make my home page look exactly like the demo view for this theme, with content and image showing across the top and then two widgets for static page showing on bottom left and right.I set it all up in the ‘readings’ tab on the backend to conform, except I cannot see the two bottom widgets on the front end of the site.
Please help!

Hi Judah,
The Twenty Twelve theme uses a Front Page template to give the home page that look. You can follow these steps to set it up:
- Set your home page as the “front page”
- Select the Front Page Template for your home page
- Add a featured image to your home page
- Add widgets to the First and Second Front Page Widget Areas
You can find those instructions and more details about the theme here:

Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
