Problem with taking site down

  So in terms of taking a site down I have had a real issue with trying to delete the website without deleting the email tied to it. The website is wisewordsbookshop.com.au and I deleted a few files on the cpanel. the problem is now that I cannot gain access to the profile or the website and the website is still showing on google. However I think I have took it down but I am in need of keeping the email address that was set up alongside the website. Can someone contact me and let me know on what needs to be done in taking down the website but still keeping the email address.
