Problem with two sites, two domains

    We had an existing free wordpress site, let’s call it oldsite.wordpress.com (want to keep actual name private). Today we wanted to add a new site, call it Newsite.com (We had registered the domain name “Newsite.com” elsewhere). On wordpress we added the Newsite.com domain name and paid for premium registration. But now all the stuff that was previously on oldsite.wordpress.com is showing up at Newsite.com. In the meantime, we have added “Newsite.wordpress.com” so that we could start working on the new site.

    How do we change it so that Newsite.com shows what is on Newsite.wordpress.com (instead of the old stuff from oldsite.wordpress.com)?

    We do want the existing old content to stay at oldsite.wordpress.com.

    Also, as I said, we paid for premium service, but it seems the premium service went with oldsite instead of with newsite.
