Problem with validating email

    Hi
    I really hope someone can help me here. I’ve started a blog (not published yet) called The James Bond Blog and it asked for validation of email address. When I put in my address it said it was already in use. I was confused by this but then discovered that it was from an old blog I set up in 2016 but never used!
    I tried to validate my new blog and it said it was done on my phone but when I go to my site on my iPad it’s still asking for validation.
    What I really want to do is cancel the old blog that I didn’t use from 2016 so I can use my email with the new one.
    It’s driving me nuts, hope someone can sort it.
