Problems adding a Pinterest "Follow me" Widget

Why wont my Pinterest follow me widget display properly?

I am adding it as a text widget and cutting and pasting the code from Pinterest but when I save half the code is automatically deleted and it displays as a link not a button.

What do I do to fix this?

    Hi there!

There are several types of embed code that we don’t allow on WordPress.com for security reasons, such as iframes and script. You can read more about the code we do and don’t allow here:

    Add Code to Your Site

Unfortunately the widget Pinterest supplies includes some of this code that is not allowed. Here are a few other ways that you can integrate your Pinterest site with your WordPress.com site:

    1. You can verify your website with Pinterest! This will give you a little bit more information about the visitors who get to your blog through Pinterest:

    2. You can embed your Pinterest profile, boards, or individual pins. We have some directions on how to do this here:

    3. You can add Pinterest to your Share links at the end of your posts. This will let your users easily be able to share your posts directly to Pinterest!

    Add Social Share Buttons

Let me know if I can help with anything else!
