problems at importing yahoo 360

  I’ve tried to import my yahoo 360 content from the blog I had 2 years ago and the script from your site returned something like “you will receive an approval or a denial within 24 hours”. That happened on Friday or Saturday and I still haven’t received a message. Please let me know if my content was approved and imported.

  Howdy,

  Could you try importing your Yahoo! 360 ZIP file again?

  You can do so at Tools -> Import -> Yahoo! 360.

  Well…I’ve tried to upload it from ubuntu and it didn’t work. Then I switched to windows and neither this time did it work. At least it did work from windows in the sense that the upload was completed but the posts didn’t appear in the post manager. Anyway I exported again from my previous wordpress account and this time the .xml was accepted instantly. It could have been my lack of attention. I initially thought that now even the .xml works but then I discovered that the posts were not in “published” but in “private”. It must have been something with the visibility I’ve set for certain posts. Anyway I hope I won’t get a double import now. I don’t want 420 posts instead of 210. Thank you very much.

  The importer won’t duplicate posts.

  If it does for some crazy reason, let us know and we can empty it out for you.
