Problems logging into my WordPress

Hi there, way back, we web developer set up my website http://www.liaefka.com. I have never had any problems entering my account by use of automated saved passwords. Now, whatever I try, I can’t seem to get into my account and therefore I can’t make any changes or post any blogs, which is frustrating. I have asked a few times for password resets but never receive an email.
Moreover, it seems there is also another empty profile of mine on WordPress — aliefkabijlsma (which I don’t use but am now using to post this, how ironic! THAT reset did work). I really need to access my website and also update plugins as my website has been suffering multiple malware attacks.

We can’t help directly because we don’t host liaefka.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.
Instead your host uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. Specifically we use a custom login system on WordPress.com (for enhanced security) that also helps prevent this kind of lockout from occurring.
The good news is that as long as you have access to the server control panel through your hosting company, it is always possible to regain access to your self-hosted WordPress site. You can ask your hosting company support for direct assistance in completing the steps in that article; they would be in the best position to help.
