Problems posting by email

For the past year, I have been happily posting by email. But, all of a sudden (starting yesterday), whenever I post a blog by email, the title of the post disappears and the post format becomes an ‘image’ instead of ‘standard’. It’s infuriating as it, effectively, means I can no longer post by email and must login into the site to post by blogs. I have not changed anything at my end. All my posts remain rich text enabled (no change there). I think this must be a change at the WordPress end. Please help!

Yes, there is an issue with our post by email feature currently and are developers are looking into it. What program are you using for email? I wanted to report that so that we can begin narrowing down what is causing this problem.

Thank you for getting back to me on this. I am using the standard “Mail” programme that comes preloaded with Apple MacBooks. Have you had any luck in the last 24 hours in fixing this problem?

Yes, the posting by email feature was down for all users for about a day or so. However, a fix was implemented earlier today. Have you tried again since then? If not, try to make a post by email and let me know if you have any trouble. Thanks!
