Problems with image widgets and badges (i.e. NetGalley)

  I’ve had issues in the past with my wordpress.org site regarding my badges as image widgets, not displaying properly when I share a post to social media; the image for the post is the badge instead of the book cover I’m writing about. I decided to just delete the badges and not worry about it anymore.

  Now, I’m having issues with wordpress.com adding the badge image widget to the sidebar. I have the code to the badges, but I’m not sure I’m adding them to the correct place, because they’re aren’t showing up on my sidebar.

  I would like to have the badges added to my wordpress.com and .org sites without issues of 1) posting to social media and having the badge be the feature image; and 2) add the badges to my wordpress.com site.
