problems with photo uploading

Hi guys, I’m new to blogging and I’m probably just doing something stupid wrong but I cant get any photos to upload to my blog. I click on the photo up-loader icon and select the photos I want to upload and it looks like they are going to upload but when it is done there is a rectangle that is blank. It’s really frustrating because it only started happening about 3 days ago. Up until I could do it fine. I have also found that I can upload photos via my facebook page, but they are too big and its only a quick fix. My blog address is dorathecook.wordpress.com. Several other, experienced bloggers have reported similar problems over the past few days. I’m going to suggest that you try a Cookie Dance: Log out, clear browser cache and cookies, and restart the computer. See if that works. If it doesn’t, then contact staff directly; I expect they changed something and now have to fix it.
