problems with resetting A records from pointing to my Tumblr
-
I have 2 problems
1) I reset my A records on my domain so it would point to my Tumblr blog (so my domain, peccosa.com would point to my Tumblr blog), but I wanted to reset them, so I can use my tumblr blog as peccosa.tumblr.com and have my domain (peccosa.com) point to my peccosa.wordpress.com blog. Now, I reset the A records according to the instructions here (just click the trash can) and the settings look like the default ones, but my tumblr blog keeps pointing to my domain, so that when I type peccosa.tumblr.com it goes to peccosa.com ( which is peccosa.wordpress.com), and I don’t understand why. I went into my tumblr settings, and my domain reads as peccosa.tumblr.com and yet that adress doesnt point to tumblr. I don’t know how to fix this.
2) last year I moved my wordpress blog (peccosa.wordpress.com) to a private host (Bluehost) and had my domain (peccosa.com) point to my wordpress.org blog. But I recently decided to cancel that account. Bluehost deleted my account, but that blog still appears under “My Sites” as peccosa.com, even though I can’t access the admin panel (when I try, it just takes me to my peccosa.wordpress.com). So it acts as if there are 2 sites, but there’s only one admin panel. I don’t know if this is causing the trouble with my tumblr, but I suspect it may somehow. I would like to delete this blog, but not delete my original wordpress.com blog. How can I do this? I think I may need to go into the 2nd peccosa.com unexisting site to “fix” the A records somehow, in case this is what’s causing the tumblr problem, but I can’t and ultimately I need to just delete this. Please help, and I’m sorry if it my explanation sounds complicated, but I am not that computer-savvy and I am at a loss to what to do. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

#1:
I am seeing http://peccosa.com/ point correctly to your WordPress.com site.
It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency. If you are still not seeing the correct site appear after 48 hours has elapsed, please contact me again.
