Problems with Stats and Slow Response Time

Up until recently I have not had any serious problems with my blog. Now, however, I am having several issues and questions. When I log in to check my stats it will tell me that I have not published a post yet, even when I publish a post just a few hours before. If I try to look at my posts and drafts it takes forever to respond and I end up having to click several times for it to do anything. It seems a lot slower than usual and I have tried clearing my cache and browser history and it still does not help. I would just like to figure out what is going on so the problem does not get any worse.
