Hi,
I uploaded a picture of myself initially but have tried to remove it and replace it with something else, but it’s stuck. I can’t seem to get rid of it. I’ve deleted it from my image file, I think!Any advice?

Can you please try clearing out your cache?
Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Internet Explorer or Google Chrome?

Clearing the cache doesn’t help as it’s the same on everyone else’s computers, not just mine, and on all browsers. I’ve checked with numerous friends.

Did you upload the image at http://en.gravatar.com/gravatars/new ? If not, please give that a try.

Tried. And waited 15 minutes. Still not doing anything. Still the same old picture. The new avatar is showing in the top right corner of my wordpress site, but it’s the old picture on the actual website. And all caches were cleared too…

I actually see your new avatar now. I’m not quite sure where you still see the old picture. Are you referring to the Widget in your blog’s sidebar? because that’s an About.me widget linking to http://about.me/ahparker .

That’s probably it. But I have changed the picture in the About Me account too and that hasn’t made a difference. I guess I’ll have to disable that altogether?

OK. That’s what I did. I had to disable the widget for it to refresh to the Word Press site. Now it’s the correct image. Weird…
