  I want to start making a profit from blogging, but since this is my first time as a blogger I need a specific explanation on how I can do this.

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Can you tell us the address of your site? I’m not seeing any WordPress.com sites on this account. Perhaps your site is on another account.

  It’s also possible that your site is using the WordPress.org software and is not hosted by us.

  There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

  We have some information here on how to make money from your WordPress.com site. Not all of these may apply if your site is hosted elsewhere, so we’d like to know your site’s address so that we can help you accordingly.
