Protected Post Actually Public
-
My last post ‘Sex Work in Osaka, Japan’ is supposed to be password protected but shows the entire post including the featured photo. The post itself says ‘protected:’ but reveals the entire post when I do the preview and visit the post, which isn’t the case with other protected posts that require the password in order to see them.
I’ve made the post public then password protected and nothing has changed. Also when I clicked on ‘blog’ in menu it took me to the contact page twice but that seems to have rectified itself.
This is the second time in a few days I’ve had an issue and I’m unsure why. The last time all of my gifs suddenly had the message saying they no longer existed. They’ve since all reappeared.
Any help is appreciated.
MartinThe site I need help with is theredram.wordpress.com.

The post is definitely password protected, you can check in your browser’s incognito or private browsing window.
Once you enter the password, it remembers you so you don’t need to enter it again, but any other first-time visitor will need the password to see it.

Thanks for your response.
I’d asked friends to check. It’s just strange because, like I said, my other password protected posts require me to enter the password before allowing me to see them, but somehow this is the only one that takes me straight in when I visit the page.
Thanks again.
