Public site- post page being read as private by Facebook

  I recently changed my wordpress.com site from private to public. It now shows as public and anyone can access it – but when I copy the url to a facebook post to promote the site the link still says –

  http://bathtubbran.com site is marked private by its owner. If you were invited to view this site please log in below. read more about privacy settings.

  The shortlink is allowing me to post to FB and pages like about, events and contact work too.

  I have cleared my cache and cookies and still nothing.

  Sometimes FB gets confused about the private–>public change. Try entering the URL into this FB debug page:

  https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
