Public to private publications

  Hello ! I am trying to put a website page already public into private, in order to make it invisible for the users. However, when I change the ‘visibility’ settings to ‘private’ and then click on ‘update’, nothing changes. The visibility is still on ‘public’ and the page on the website is visible for everyone. Do you know what the problem is ?

  That site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, so we have no control over it and no way to help with this.

  The open source version of WordPress you’re using on that site does not include an option to set a site to private, so if you have that option you must be using a plugin to add it. In that case, your best option here is to contact support for that plugin directly for help.

  Ok, thanks ! I’ll try to see with the plugin providers directly then !
