  i want page to be public but when I make it public it can be edited by anyone
  so how do I make it public without letting people edit it??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The portion of your site for editing (the dashboard) can only be accessed by the owner and any admins or other users who you have personally invited to contribute to the site. All other visitors and viewers do not have the ability to edit anything on your site.

  The edit links that you may see on your pages are only viewable by you because you are currently logged into your account. If you are not logged into your account and visit your site, you’ll be like all other visitors – unable to see those edit links.
