  I keep getting this message when I try to add LinkedIn to my publicize field

  There was a problem creating your connection.

  My LinkedIn account works, so how can I automatically post from my wordpress blog to LinkedIn?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Sometimes there can be glitches when we try to connect to LinkedIn, but those are usually temporary. Can you try again and see if it works this time around?

  If it doesn’t, you can also check to make sure that there isn’t a lingering WordPress.com connection in your LinkedIn account that’s causing problems. Here’s how to find that:

  1. Log in to your LinkedIn account and go to the Privacy & Settings page.
  2. In the bottom left, click the “Groups, Companies & Applications” tab.
  3. Look for the Applications section and click on “View your applications.”
  4. This should take you to a page called “Authorized External Applications.” Look for WordPress.com in the list on that page, check the box next to it, and then click the Remove button.
  5. Now, go back to Settings > Sharing on your WordPress.com blog and try setting up the LinkedIn connection again.
