Published personal information without my authorization
-
In this Blog posted personal information and lies about me.
http://ggerman.wordpress.com/
What should I do to eliminate it? -
Well, reposting that URL everywhere is only spreading the information.
If what the blogger is saying is a matter of public record, such as arrest reports, addresses, and phone numbers which are listed in the phone book, there is nothing you can do about that. If the blogger is making statements of fact about you which are untrue, you may wish to sue that person. In my experience, WordPress.com does not get into he said/she said judgements about whether what a blogger has said is true or not. Your action should be directed towards the blogger. You may wish to consult a lawyer.
There is also this:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=18731&replies=17#post-141321FYI: your username is the same as the name of that blog. Deliberately posing as someone else is against the law in the United States. I recommend you drop that username.

How do you know who you are? I can’t help you there.
Your username is ggerman. The blog you’re referring to is http://ggerman.wordpress.com . This would imply that you are the author of this blog. If you are not (and I would guess you are not, since you claim the author of that blog is lying about you) then you should probably drop that username, or at least change the Nickname (on the profile page).
-
But that I must change my nickname?
My blog is libertadcero.wordpress.com.
It’s completely different. Besides I can not change the nickname from the options that gives me the profile. -
We apologize for the other thread, but imagine the situation.
This very bad that somebody do that. -
It happens to everyone.
You can change your nickname under Profile. You cannot change your username, but you can indeed change your nickname. It’s on the left-hand side, down a little ways. Just type in a new name and that name is the one that will be displayed. But if you’re saying your username predates his blog, then he’s the one who’s aping your identity and that’s yet another transgression of his.
