Publishing a post

    Hi, I am novice in this topic. I created a blog and wrote a post, then I pressed PUBLISH, with public view and immediately publishing, however when I go to my site it is not published.
    What should I do? Maybe I have to press or tick something to get published?
    Other question I have is how to do the list of the categories I created and that list appears in my blog?
    I will be expecting your help!
