Publishing of Post Failed

I’m trying to publish a post but I receive the error message, ‘Publishing of post failed’. An earlier version of the post has been saved to my drafts, but not the current one.
I haven’t been away from my laptop at all and my connection has also been fine. When I attempt to preview the page is blank.
Can anyone help?

Of what post are you speaking? I see only one draft post on your site, My Current Reading List, but I also see a post with the same title that was published an hour after you created this thread. Do you still need help with this?

It was the Current Reading List post – luckily I copied the text before trying again as it had completely vanished from my drafts when I searched for it. So I had to re-upload as a new post. Still not sure what caused it.

Most likely it was a caching issue in your browser. If something like this happens again, make sure you make a copy of the content in a text editor, and then clear your browser cache and cookies. Do that now in any case, to forestall any possible problems going forward.
