Purchase theme for use on my own domain

Hi there, I purchased this theme, but then it just loaded in my wordpress.com profile as my own website. I have now cancelled the purchase and requested a refund.
I need to purchase this theme to download and install on my own domain. Please advise how this works? I usually buy from theme forest and dont have this issue as I can log in and download the files.

You can’t buy a theme on the wordpress.com platform and use it on a selfhosted site using the open source wordpress.org.

It looks like you were trying to purchase the Ovation theme.
That theme is available for sites using the WordPress open-source software from the theme author here:
