Purchased a new blog theme but the backend/dashboard wasn't updated
-
This question is in regards to my site academicebookstudy.com. The site was originally built using the Forefront theme. Yesterday, I purchased the Shelf theme for the site. When I click on the dashboard, it looks like the backend is still in Forefront mode (e.g., options to add a feature image, create a static homepage). I don’t see any of the features associated with the Shelf theme (e.g. tumblog, etc.). So far, I’ve tried clearing the cashe/cookies. Is there any way someone could have a look at this for me? I have all of the content saved to my computer, so if the site needs to be reset, that’s no problem (as long as the url doesn’t change!).
Thank you in advance for any information you can provide!

I am seeing academicebookstudy.com as using the shelf theme. Here’s a screenshot:
I am wondering if you were looking at a description or review of the Shelf theme for self-hosted WordPress.org sites before you purchased it for your WordPress.com site. While similar, it appears that the .org and .com versions are slightly different.

Thank you for your response. I’ll double check on that because I may have looked at the .org version.

I have one more quick question. For my “Project Updates” tab, I’d really like to create a separate item on the shelf for each report (right now, they’re listed on one page as links – http://academicebookstudy.com/project-updates/). Is there a way to do this? Basically, I’d like this page to look similar to the “Blog” tab, where each report would have it’s own post.
Thank you again for all of your help!

While I am not 100% sure, I have a feeling that isn’t possible.
However, I would encourage you to post your question here:
http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/shelf
In the dedicated Shelf theme support area.
