purchased WordPress.com premium, still paid additional for domain mapping
-
Hello WordPress answer-people,
I am new to setting up my site, and would like to know if you can clarify the following:
1) on 3/30 I purchased WordPress.com premium package for $99. Included were
WordPress.com Premium
Save up to 40% on our most popular upgrades. Get all of these great features to super-charge your blog in one simple purchase. Includes a <<domain name of your choice>> or domain mapping for an existing domain, VideoPress, Custom Design, 10GB Space Upgrade, and No Ads.
However, I don’t remember being prompted for a domain name so then…
2) on 3/31 purchased “rpsdesignstudio.com” as my domain name.
Did I really need to purchase the domain “rpsdesignstudio.com”? Or was this an unnecessary purchase that can be refunded because I skipped a step on 3/30?
Thank you SO very much for your help, I appreciate it!

Okay, I’ve got that all straightened out for you. The short explanation is that your WP Premium upgrade got applied to a different site of yours than it should have. I have moved it to the correct one, connected it to rpsdesignstudio.com, and refunded the extra payment.
Please be aware that it can take up to 7-10 business days for refunds to show up on your statement.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Dear root josh,
Thank you for resolving this matter so quickly (it sounded like it was a complex issue) and for the explanation. I am really impressed with your outstanding customer service…on a SATURDAY. Glad I chose WordPress.
Best,
