Purge a Domain?

  Hello,
  I’m wondering if it’s possible to purge a domain that doesn’t seem to be in use by anyone. I’m interested in building up a site from a particular domain, but can’t because it’s taken, although not in use. Is it possible to get it purged/deleted? Comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  Domains belong to the original owner – no purging allowed – no requirement to use a blog – once a domain name is deleted it is gone forever even from the original owner.

  You need to, see if the blog has contact info on it, find a new name or map a custom domain name to a blog.

  I tried contacting the original owner. There is no contact information on his site, unfortunately.

  If comments are enabled you can try leaving a comment and maybe they are moderated to an email address that is valid
