I’d like to know how to put what I’ve written on my URL afrazer123.wordpress.com onto the web page https://virtualmathclub.wordpress.com.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you want to keep the two sites separate and just show the posts from the other site on virtualmathclub, or did you want to move those posts over to that site and not use the other site, or use it for something else?

Since you only have a few of posts on afrazer123, if you want to move them completely over to mathclub, I would suggest just opening up those posts and copying out the content and then pasting it into new posts on mathclub.

Find the volume of the solid of revolution that’s formed by revolving the region bounded by the graphs of the given equations about the indicated line or axis.

    11. y=x^2, y=2x; y-axis: According to the washer method, volume=pi times the integral of [f(x)]^2-[g(x)]^2 dx from a to b. Finding a and b involves letting x^2=2x and x^2-2x=0. So, x(x-2) shows that x=0 and x=2 then y=(0)^2=0 and y=(2)^2=4 and a=0 and b=4. The same products are found when putting 0 and 2 into y=2x. Now, volume=pi times the integral of (y^(1/2))^2-(y/2)^2 dy from 0 to 4. Remember the graph of x=y^(1/2) lies over the graph of x=y/2 and thickness of washer is dy. Continuing, I get volume=pi[y^2/2-y^3/12 from 0 to 4]=pi[(16/2-64/12)-0]=pi[8/1-16/3]=8pi/3

    Next problem will be y=4-x^2, y=1-(1/4)x^2; x-axis.

Hi, paste the above into a new post in the post editor on your virtualmathclub site and then save.
