Hi,
The website’s appearance is based on the theme you’re using, and not all themes support displaying content on the right.
Would you mind letting me know which theme you’re using? You can find it under Appearance > themes.Alternatively, you can visit the following link and select a theme that matches your requirements and offers a left-sidebar :
https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/left-sidebar.I hope that helps!

It sounds like you may be searching for help on Google and I wanted to clarify that on WordPress.com we use a slightly different variant of the WordPress platform (as compared to the variant of WordPress that other hosts offer) so yes there can be a difference between what you see in those resources vs. what you see here.
The reason for this is that the version of WordPress that other hosts use is the free open-source version that does not come with support. Because of this a lot of folks that use that version will post info online to help one another. In your case since you are on WordPress.com support is included, and you can ask here for any questions that you have and we’re happy to help.
So how do I now get the pages to show up in the right part of the website??????
I visited your site and I see you have set up a menu at the top, with several pages like For Teachers, Who are you calling old?, About Me, etc.
For me all these pages work and I can see your text/images when I visit them. I’m not sure what you meant by getting things to appear on the “right part” of the website though, so can you tell us more about what you are trying to set up? Maybe it will help if you can give us an example of what it’d look like if everything was in the “right part” of the site, and where they are now, so we can visit and see what needs to happen to move them from their current location.
Thanks for the additional info!

Thanks for your help.
A lot of the guides I was looking at were from WordPress.
I had created ‘pages’ but couldn’t get them to appear under the menu headings.
I eventually gave up and added them by creating them again / copy and paste, using the ‘edit’ button on the pages that opened when I pressed the menu points. I still don’t understand why I didn’t get the interface I saw on the guide. But I’ve solved the problem for the moment.
Thanks again
