query about your ad bar

    Dear wordpress, I’m managing a non-commercial website (holderlinversek.wordpress.com, it contains poetry and quotes in Hungarian and German). I have no financial interest in it. I think it can give an aesthetic experience to the readers. However, your ad bar, the white line ‘Create your website… – Get started’ rather spoils it. It looks quite irritating to my eyes. Could you please consider to make it at last a little narrower? Thank you for the answer.

    If you no longer want that bar, you must upgrade to a paid plan.

    I did not write that I no longer want it. What I wrote was this: I would like you to make your white bar just a little narrower, something like the look of the black bar when I am logged in.
    Do you understand why I’m asking for this? It’s not about money. I have no income from creating and managing this site. It’s about making sure that a website meant to give aesthetic experience can look truly aesthetic.

    There is no option to modify the size of that bar on a free WordPress.com site at this time.

    I will, however, pass your suggestion along to the team as something to consider for the future.
