  Good morning –

  It sounds like you’re working on the site menu. Is that right?

  I suggest finding a theme that suits your needs for the site. Look at the menu areas to make sure you like how those are displayed. https://wordpress.com/themes/ The green flags in the corner of the theme picture indicate it’s an easier one to set up. I’d suggest sticking with one of those.

  The site already has a Home and Blog page. You’ll need to first add any other pages that you want to be listed in the site menu.

  Go to My Sites – Sites – Pages – Add New – Publish

  Once those pages are made you can link them in to the site menu. Click on My Sites – Design – Customize – Menu – Add New Menu Item – Pages – Select Page
