Question about database character set and site migration

    Hi WordPress.com Support,

    I’m planning to move my website (Site A) to my WordPress.com account (Site B).

    I checked “Site Health” on Site B and saw that the database character set is latin1, but my original site (Site A) uses utf8mb4. I’m worried this difference will cause problems during the migration. Could you help me with these questions?

    1. Since I need to use Chinese on my site, should I be using utf8mb4 or latin1?
    2. How can I migrate from Site A to Site B when the database character sets are different? Is there a recommended way to do this?
