Question about Guided Transfer
-
I’d like to move my premium wordpress.com blog to wordpress.org, using the guided transfer. Regarding this I have two questions: Can I keep my current domain name http://www.berlincatlady.com and use it on wordpress.org? Or will I have to use a different url name? The other question is: When I have my blog up and running via wordpress.org, what happens to my premium subscription for wordpress.com? Will I be able to cancel it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can I keep my current domain name http://www.berlincatlady.com and use it on wordpress.org?
you can certainly keep your custom domain name on your self-hosted site. You can either transfer your domain to another registrar (recommended) or update the name servers to point to your new host.
When I have my blog up and running via wordpress.org, what happens to my premium subscription for wordpress.com? Will I be able to cancel it?
Yes, WordPress.com Premium can be cancelled once you switch over to self-hosted. It looks like you already turned off auto-renewal on that upgrade, so it will just expire on September 8, 2013, unless you renew it manually.
Just let me know if you have any other questions.
