Question about "host"

I hate to sound stupid but I started with WP last year and had to let it sit until recently. I have forgotten many of the things I signed up for. As I am trying to figure out things (I’m doing better slowly), I am confused about my “host”. Is “Bluehost” my host or is “WordPress” my host? Just asking because it is often referred to in articles about blogging. Thanks, SK Crow

I started with WP last year
This WordPress.com site attached to this particular WordPress.com account was only created 27th February this year. Perhaps you have some other site as well as this one that is either here at WordPress.com or actually hosted at Bluehost?
