Question about Plans & Plug-ins

I’m trying to switch a personal Tumblr blog to the WordPress platform here. I understand that I can use the TumblrImport Plug-in to transfer all of my pages and posts to the WordPress website and that to use this plugin I must purchase a business plan to do so. My question is that if, after purchasing the business plan for a year, I drop the plan to return to either a free or premium version–thereby losing access to the TumblrImport Plug-in–will the posts and pages that have been transferred remain on my new WordPress based website or will those be lost with the Plug-In? I really need to know this before making such a costly purchase. Thank you for your time.

You don’t need any plugin to migrate your Tumblr blog here on WordPress.com. We have an importer specifically built for Tumblr. You can read more here:
