Question about servers

  I’m looking to build an LMS using WordPress e-commerce plan, will I need to rent servers from another company for my website? Or will WordPress provide them with the eCommerce plan?

  My website will have on average 1,500 daily active users and will store a lot of data, such as grades, a calendar with schedules, events and due dates for assignments, a chat system, a real time collaborative whiteboard, a season pass, student profiles with information about them, etc.

  I understand the difficulty of calculating the costs associated with this, but how much would hosting a platform like this cost me on a monthly basis?

  We are a fully hosted service, so once you have a site with us here, you’re hosted with us. :)

  We have no bandwidth or daily active user limits, but we do have space limitations. The eCommerce plan comes with 200 GB of space, but if you need more, just let us know and we can work something out: https://wordpress.com/support/space-upgrade/
