  Hope you are so kind to help me with this question.
  I have registred a domain name – but do not wish to connect webhotel and WordPress just yet. Is i possible to create a wordpress homepage and then connect it to the webhotel afterwards?

  Absolutely!

  Just build your WordPress.com site and when you are satisfied with it, follow these instructions to connect your existing domain with your WordPress.com site:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Please do be aware that setting up Domain Mapping requires the purchase of a WordPress.com site plan. Custom domains cannot be used on free WordPress.com sites:
