Question – Switch from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

    Hi WordPress Support Team,

    Is it possible to switch WordPress (WP) accounts from ‘WP.com’ to ‘WP.org’? Our current website provider has a WP plugin but it’s only compatible with the ‘WP.org’ accounts.

    Have users asked about this before? Are you able to accommodate the switch? If so, what are the next steps and is there anything we should be aware of if we make the switch?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes
