Questions About Domain Plan and Future Personal Plan Integration

    Hello,

    I wanted to reach out as my current domain and Personal Plan are about to expire, and I’m considering my options.

    1. If I decide to skip renewing the Personal Plan for now and only go for the domain plan, will my custom domain (e.g., anwesharc.com) redirect to my free site (felixfelicitatedblog.wordpress.com)?
    2. If I later decide to purchase the Personal Plan, perhaps a year from now, can I reconnect the same domain (anwesharc.com) to my site? Specifically, I’d like to ensure that typing anwesharc.com would lead directly to my site without any redirection at that time.

    Hello,

    1. Yes, your site will revert back to being a free site with “subdomain.wordpress.com” instead of domain.com. Source: https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/cancel-a-purchase/#after-cancelling-a-plan

    2. Yes, you can reconnect to your domain at any time as long as you renew your domain.
