  I currently have a free blog and want to add my own domain name. Can I do that?
  Also, I want some affiliate ads on my blog that will bro used for reviews, etc. can I do this on the free verson?

  Yes, you can either register a domain through WordPress.com or use a domain that you have registered elsewhere:

  Yes, affiliate ads are allowed. Using 3rd party ad networks is not allowed.
