questions about new update/upgrade

  I have received an email recently that informs me that my WP personal plan will automatically upgrade to a start up plan – which include a $60 increased yearly fee. Is this optional or mandatory? Thanks

  Hi there,

  We don’t sell anything on WordPress.com called a start up plan, and the account you’re using to post here does not own any sites or upgrades with us. What is your site’s address?

  I suspect you might have a site using the open source version of WordPress instead, in which case that email likely came from your hosting provider. In that case, please contact them directly to enquire about this.
