Questions about the “Comment Likes” feature

    I have a few questions about the Comment Likes feature that weren’t covered in the support page.

    1. Is this feature the same as the Jetpack Comment Likes feature, in that it is implemented using the Jetpack plugin?
    2. If not, is this feature available on WordPress.org self-hosted, or is this specific to WordPress.com hosted blogs? (I can’t find a reference to the feature on the WordPress.org documentation so I’m assuming this is specific to WordPress.com)
    3. Are the likes backed up / exportable? For comparison, Jetpack likes disappear if the site URL is changed so can’t be migrated to a different site.

    The UX of the feature looks better than many of the plugins that are available, but I’m concerned about losing the likes if I need to move my website in future.
