Quick help needed

Hi,
I continuously get feedback from my blog readers, that they find it complicated and difficult to leave comments to my posts. The process of identification etc. is so confusing that people just give up. Many have even rather gone through the effort of finding out my name and sent me their messages through facebook etc. instead.
Is there a way to customise the comments section to become more user friendly? I still want to personally accept / unaccept the comments but I’d like the process to be simple for the visitors.
For example maryannepale.wordpress.com has a user friendly comments section. Could you adapt mine into something similar? I’d be happy to pay the extra costs of having a site that my readers find pleasant to use.

The two commenting systems are exactly the same, we use the same system site-wide.
Can you describe what differences stick out to you?
