Quick post published my post "successfully" but did not post into blog

  Hello,
  I am new to the site, I just spent half an hour writing away. I hit “publish” and it appeared to have been published successfully. When I clicked on “view post” It gave me an error saying it doesn’t match the criteria for the search. Clicked on my page and it doesn’t show my blog that I just posted. Help please! Thanks in advance!

  Go to posts > posts and see it that post is listed there.

  Also, for longer posts, I would always recommend the full editor and then just use the quick post editor for short posts.

  What was the title of your new post?

  No the post didn’t show in the post section. Title is : As the fox looks back into her old exhibit…..

  I just did a little poking around in category and archive and do not see it either.

  I hate to say, but it could have vaporized into the interwebs.

  My suggestion is to always use the main editor for anything longer than a paragraph or two, and enter a title first thing and then click “save draft” before starting to write the post. That way the autosave should keep you from losing stuff.

  Haha! Thanks! Well….at least I got off my chest what was needed. I’m not gonna spend another half hour venting again. I know now next time. Thanks again!
