Random Followers?

    Hello.

    I have a question regarding followers on a free wordpress blog.

    I know “weird followers” have been discussed on this forum in a topic of the same name, but as I understand people in that topic had issues with multiple e-mail followers (spam).

    What about when other users start following your blog, but there’s something fishy about them?
    For example: [at]some33weird1*namebb gets listed in your followers, and when you hover over that name with mouse cursor, it shows some33weird1*namebb . wordpres . com in the corner of your browser, and when you click on the name, it takes/redirects you to some33weird1*namebb . blog (or something like that).
    (The name is made up, and I wrote the adresses here with spaces so that they are not active.)
    The page you land on is weird, in an unknown language, with only one or two entries (it looks like a newly created blog), so you just close it.

    What I would like to know is – is this common? Random? Is it okay if you just delete this follower? Can there be a problem if you go visit its page? (You don’t click on nothing on its page, just exit it…)
