Random hyperlinks inserted into my posts

    My think blog has been hacked.

    My latest posts have random links inserted into them. I didn’t put them there and I can’t seem to get rid of them.

    I changed my password. Is that enough and how do I prevent this kind of thing happening again?

    Wow, I’ve been hacked so bad, even when I post a support question it has a random link inserted into it.

    Can anyone else see it?

    It’s on the word ‘password’ in my above post.

    Hi there – it sounds like your browser or computer may be infected with some malware, since the links aren’t visible on my end.

    As a first step in finding the culprit, could you please try turning off all your Firefox extensions and add-ons, and restarting the browser? Here are instructions for doing that:

    http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons

    If the links disappear, you can try reactivating the add-ons/extensions one-by-one to find the culprit that’s been inserting the links.
