random post – BUT within a specific category

  Hi, I found code on one of these forums for creating a widget to go to a random post.

  What I wanted to do next was have a haiku per blog post, with a random button that takes me to another post but ONLY within this haiku subset.

  Here’s the idea: http://getbradstanleypublished.com/2010/01/05/random-haiku-1/

  So I thought I could have: http://getbradstanleypublished.com/2010/01/05/random-haiku-?random … but that didn’t work. Instead just took me to a random post on my blog.

  Anybody have any solutions to this? I also looked for a random number generator but it looked like you had to use javascript? And I don’t think wordpress allows that??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I can’t help with the random post in a category. I have no solution for it.
