Random republication of latest post

    I have been having problems with WordPress lately. A post I publish gets automatically republished the next day, or the day after. Sometimes once, sometimes six times in a row. I delete these copies of posts manually, but would very much like to know what causes this random publication. I thought the WP app in my phone may be causing it, so I tried uninstalling the app… any clues how I can fix this? Thank you!

    Hi there,

    Are you using the iOS app? There was a bug in the app’s update from last week that caused old draft posts to publish on their own, but that’s already been fixed in the newest version of the app, so if you update again that should do it.

    If it’s been going on since longer ago, and it’s happening to already-published posts, then it’s not the app. But as your site is also not hosted with us, but using the open source WordPress software at another host, we’re’ not able to help with this in that case.
