Re-building my website

I have an existing website which was set up by a family member in my name, but owing to illness he cannot look after it anymore so has sent me all of the log-in details so I can manage the site myself. ie – (https://tynemusic.com) I wish to build this website from scratch so how do I delete all of the pages (including the home page) and transfer the domain name to your website. If you take a look at ‘tynemusic.com’ you will see I’ve made rather a mess of it by trying to alter the existing pages by using the wrong programme. As I’m self-isolating for the next 20 weeks I have plenty of time to build a brand new site. I really only need to know how to get started without losing my domain name. D. Westgate (tynemusic.com)

Hi –
The site mentioned does not use our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com. Instead, it’s set up on the open source WordPress.org software which is something different.
